The first on the list:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On September 11th, 2001, events occurred that many Americans hadn’t previously thought was a possibility. I won’t get into the details here, since you probably know most of them anyway, and, you will be getting an up close and personal look between the pages of this book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biography opens with the tragedy, detailing the circumstances that led to the switching of two pilots. One was the pilot of the first, hijacked plane that crashed into the World Trade Center. The other would have been, if not for a simple rescheduling. That’s only the beginning of the story, however. It continues on to give a history of Steve Scheibner, the pilot who would have been in the fatal plane crash. Detailing his life from boyhood, to manhood, marriage, children, etc. It’s a very interesting book, one that makes you think. I hope you give it a read! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is one of my most recent reads. I should say that, as you can see, it is a book about the Holocaust. As a result, it is a little hard to read at some points. Trying to wrap one’s head around such abject evil is hard, for good reason. Don’t get me wrong though, I still think it was an excellent book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henryk led a happy life before the Germans had turned his world upside down. Tragedy faces the young boy at every turn as he desperately tries to survive on his own. For most of his boyhood years, he believes that he continues to live based on his own skill and cunning. Eventually he learns that, indeed, he had not survived on his own. God had saved him for a purpose. Are you intrigued yet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
