Welcoming Spring
Hello! How is your Friday going so far? Are you looking forward to Spring?
As I write this, rain patters gently on the windows. Filtering through the raindrops a grey light illuminates the table I’m working on.
Grey days like this are some of my favorites. Especially when they come in the warmer months. They feel like a little touch of Autumn amidst the hotness.
But now, we speak of Spring. The little buds bursting out on the trees, the sound of the frogs singing in the woods, all are heralds of the new season.
Flowers of Spring
A post about Spring wouldn’t be complete without flowers. Those bright spots that very often dot the March days before the trees and grass have really come to life again.
When I look at a flower, I’m reminded of the One who made them, the One who has an eye for detail unmatched by anyone else.
Have you ever really looked at a flower or a leaf? The way the delicate veins travel through the leaves, the color, everything that makes it what it is.
Even the smallest one is a work of art. Every beautiful part of nature points to a Creator who cares deeply. Some would dispute that fact. Some would say that this beauty was made by accident, a mistake that somehow led to so many incredible sights. I don’t believe that. I believe that God created the world, and everything in it. He lovingly fashioned the beautiful things we see. And in return, they all point to Him. Isn’t that an amazing concept?
The seasons, the sun, the baby being knit together in it’s mother’s womb, all are signs of a wise and loving Creator, just as a daffodil beginning to bloom is a sign of spring.
What is my point in all of this? To be honest, I just wanted to share a few thoughts. Nothing too put together. But with spring approaching and everything coming alive, I thought I’d take a moment to share about the One who created all of this beauty. ~ Emily

Yes! God allows us to enjoy so much beauty!
Yes, He does!
This is a beautiful reminder of how God reveals Himself through His creation. I was blessed as I read it!
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
