I hope it goes this way…
Hello! How was your day? Mine’s been pretty busy, but I’d still like to get this post up.
If you’re wondering what the title means, I was referring to the schedule that I will be posting, and the content that will be available. Four posts a week may sound like a bit much, but each post will have different topics.
- Modest Mondays: On Mondays, I plan to post an outfit. Casual, Church, Work, etc, since I’d like to do more on this blog than only clothes. I really enjoy putting together outfits, however, so that will still be an important part of the blog.
- Reading Wednesdays: The name may still need some work, but on Wednesdays I plan to post some type of book related content, most likely a recommendation or review. Reading is a favorite part of my life, and I’d like to share some of that with my readers.
- Simply Saturdays: Saturdays will be a bit more of a wild card. This day will be something project-related. Sewing, art, crafts, things of that nature. And there will definitely be some posts documenting alterations that I make on clothing I already have, that may just need a little (or a lot!) of tweaking to make it a useful piece in my wardrobe.
- Sacred Sundays: These posts will be simple and short. Most likely a verse of the day, with perhaps some original artwork.
I wore this outfit last Saturday. It was a little chillier that day, so I opted for a jacket and boots over the more Spring-y clothes I had been wearing. The shirt and boots are hand-me-downs from my mom, the leather jacket from my older sister, and the skirt I picked up at a thrift shop. I’m not sure how long ago it was that I bought the skirt, but I have worn it many times since then. It has a small rip in the side, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a needle, thread, and few extra minutes of my time!
