Christmas-y, with Red Boots
Hello! Today on Modest Monday I have a more Christmas-y outfit, which just happens to feature red boots. Let’s get started!

My brother and I weren’t able to get very many photos, since it was cold and windy and we were on the edge of being late for church. That said, let’s talk about the outfit.
As it happens, you can’t actually see my red boots in this photo. I promise you, they are there. This is the outfit I wore to church yesterday. I didn’t want to go too crazy with the red and green, so I did basic colors (black and grey) as the base and added color from there.
The shrug is another of the pieces that I wasn’t too sure of when I tried it on. For one thing, it’s several sizes too big. For another, I wasn’t sure that the tied look was really that great. By the end of the day, however, I was pleased to find that I really liked it!
The skirt is one I’ve been wearing often lately. (Here’s another time I wore it, as well.) It’s goes with almost everything, which is great.

In this photo you can see the jewelry a little better. The necklace and earrings were actually made by my sister. She made them for all of the bridesmaids in her wedding. I haven’t worn them together very often since the wedding (five years ago ) but I thought that yesterday was the perfect day to bring them out again!

Christmas, with Red Boots Outfit Details:
I believe the shrug was from J.C.Penney. The shirt and skirt were probably thrift store finds. I’m not sure. The boots were from Amazon.
I think that’s all for now! Do you like wearing red and green? Or would you rather just decorate with red and green. ~ Emily
