Blue Denim Jacket and Lace
Hello! Today we’ll be taking a look at at an outfit featuring a blue denim jacket and lace. Let’s get started!
This outfit shares a few similarities with the one I wore to church last week. I think that it has a whole different look compared to it, however. Adding a jacket of an entirely different color helps to give that impression. 😉 This outfit came together almost as soon as my head hit the pillow on Saturday night. I had already laid out a different outfit to wear for the next day, but I wasn’t feeling very confident about that one. Lucky for me, this outfit came together when I wasn’t even thinking about clothes. That’s the way it works, sometimes!
This lace shirt has successfully made the transition from summer to fall wear. (I posted it in June, the last time.) Most of my outfits can be worn in any season, but there are a few (such as a light yellow maxi skirt I recently purchased at a thrift store) that wouldn’t look right in the colder months.
Here’s a closer look at some of the details of the outfit. Nothing special, but I was happy about wearing my brown boots for the first time this year. And the pair of earrings are some that I should wear more, really, but they’re actually really loud. If I move my head or touch my hair, they’re like a couple of tambourines on the side of my head. That’s probably a bit of exaggeration, but they are right beside my ears. 😉
Blue Denim Jacket and Lace Outfit Details:
The jacket is from J.C.Penney, I believe. (It’s a little long in the sleeves, but you might notice I rolled up the cuffs.) The shirt is from the thrift store, as is the skirt. The boots are from J.C.Penney. And the earrings are from Walmart.
Well, that’s all for now. Do you like denim jackets? ~ Emily
