New Year’s Eve Outfit

Hello! Today I’ll be sharing my New Year’s Eve outfit! Let’s get started!

Now, it might seem strange to some that I was wearing short sleeves in December. It’s not too strange, considering where we live. As I look outside right now, it looks like a blizzard. But, that’s just the way it is!

I did end up pairing this outfit with a denim jacket, which matched the nails that you’ll see in a moment.

These nails, in fact, which unfortunately didn’t show up too well on the camera. The nails are actually pretty much stickers. Just more durable. (Usually. I have had some trouble with them falling off or ripping.) I’ll link to the website I bought them off of here. They didn’t necessarily match the outfit, however, until I added a jacket.

Which you can kind of see here. Unfortunately I only thought of this jacket after we came inside, and were just about to leave for our New Year’s Eve festivities. You still get the gist of it. Just forgive the blurry indoor photos. 😉

For my hair I stayed pretty simple. Just twisted back the side portions and pinned them in place. Then used a hair tie, pulled the rest of my hair through one and a half times (to make a bun). I left some of the ends loose. I shaped the actual bun using a few more pins. And it was done! It worked great! Plus, that day was pretty crazy, so having an easy, no-fuss hairstyle was a must.

New Year’s Eve Outfit Details:

The shirt was from Old Navy. I just recently bought the skirt at the thrift store. The shoes are from Walmart, and the jewelry was given to me by my sister.
