Polka Dot Maxi Skirt

Hello! Today on Modest Monday we’ll be taking a look at an outfit I wore to church recently, featuring a polka dot maxi skirt. Let’s get started!

This outfit was a result of a late-night scrounging around to find something quick and easy to wear for church the next day. I actually like the result!

I’ve actually only worn this skirt twice before (only one of which actually made it onto the blog 😉 ) but after wearing it for this outfit I’m thinking I should start incorporating it more often into my wardrobe! It’s actually got a really nice feel and weight to it; though the construction of it leaves a little to be desired. It doesn’t seem to be the most durable piece of clothing. 😉

For my hair I went pretty simple, using a flexi clip for a half-up/half-down style. Flexi clips are nice, since they easily add some interest to an otherwise rather plain style.

For my nails I was using nail stickers from Lily and Fox (and I forgot to get photos of my nails while we were still outside, so that’s why this one is…inside 😉 ). Most of the nails I’ve used from Lily and Fox have held up pretty well, this set included. Some of them, however, start chipping really easily and fast. Usually they hold up pretty well, though; and they’re a nice way to add some interest to your hands! (And I’m not affiliated with them at all, in case you’re wondering. 😉 )

Polka Dot Maxi Skirt Outfit Details:

I’m not sure where the sweater came from, but I bought the tank top from J.C.Penney. And the skirt was a ThredUp find. The flats, earrings, and necklace, were all purchased at Walmart (and the quality is actually surprisingly good). The Flexi clip is from Lilla Rose.

Well, that’s all for now! I hope you enjoyed this post. ~ Emily
