Green Dress with Gold Accessories

Hello again! Today on Modest Monday we’ll be taking a look at an outfit I wore recently: a green dress with gold accessories. Let’s get started!

I recently bought this dress as a result of my search for clothes with pockets. That search was actually harder than I though it would be, since it seems that there’s an alarming number of skirts, dresses, and even shirts with useless pockets or simply none at all. Of course, I already knew this before I started looking for clothes with pockets, but it was brought further to my attention after this little bout of shopping. It’s really not that hard to add useful pockets to clothes, so why aren’t there more of them?

Okay, enough ranting. 😉 I did find this dress with pockets, and wore it the first Sunday after I bought it. It was pretty simple to style. Just some gold accessories and heels!

To start with, I bought the dress on Amazon (I’ll link to it, although it doesn’t look like it’s on sale anymore). The earrings and necklace were from Walmart. The heels I purchased at Rack Room several years ago.
