Green Maxi Dress

Hello! Welcome to another Modest Monday. Today we’ll be taking a look at an outfit that mainly consists of a green maxi dress. Let’s get started!

I wore this outfit Sunday before last, which you may remember was Easter Sunday.

It was the first time I wore this dress, and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoy sweeping around in a very long, flowing skirt. If you haven’t already tried doing just that, I highly recommend it. 😉 But seriously, this dress was comfortable and I received several compliments on it that day. Oh, and did I mention that it has pockets!

For accessories I went pretty simple. Just a necklace, earrings, and a hair clip you can see…

…here! For my hair I just twisted back the side pieces of my hair and pinned them in place with this new clip I bought from Lilla Rose. Simple, yet elegant.

Green Maxi Dress Outfit Details:

The sweater was from BJ’s, and was definitely a good purchase since I’ve worn it so many times. It’s a staple of my modest wardrobe, I’d say. The dress was from Amazon a while back. It’s actually made of Rayon, and feels a little more quality than Amazon clothes can sometimes feel. The shoes were from Walmart, as were the earrings and necklace. The fabric that you can see at the neckline of the dress is just a piece of an old slip that I cut up. 😉
