Blue Dress, Revisited.

Blue Dress, Revisited.

Hello! Today the topic is a blue dress, revisited. (I’ll link to the first post with it here.) Let’s get started!

Now, you might notice that these photos are indoors and dark. I do apologize for that, but it was way too cold to take photos without a jacket on outside! If you follow the link to the first post with this dress in it, you can actually tell what it looks like. πŸ˜‰

For this outfit I was going for warmth with minimal bulk. (You know, sort of what we talked about last week.) Thick socks, boots, fleece-lined leggings, etc. I pulled it together with the black sweater, which, I know, I wear it a lot. What can I say, I like it! πŸ˜‰

And, I also though I’d show my fancier winter coat. It’s just a regular wool peacoat that I’ve had for a couple of years. To be honest, I really don’t like this coat. It’s scratchy and digs into the back of my neck and seems to give me a headache whenever I wear it. But, I haven’t really found anything else to replace it. Generally, I carry it around with me back and forth to church, and avoid actually putting it on. Yesterday, however, it was a little too cold to do that. πŸ˜‰

You may or may not notice that this dress is missing the collar that was rather noticeable on it’s first appearance on the blog. I didn’t like how the collar looked with the sweater, so I changed it. No, I didn’t cut it off, but I did cut the seam holding the collar in place and flipped it to the inside. That took care of it, and the dress can still be worn with the collar, if I wanted.

Blue Dress, Revisited Outfit Details:

The sweater is from Bj’s. The dress is from Amazon. I think the leggings might have been from Walmart, and the necklace definitely was. The earrings and boots were given to me, and I’m not sure where they came from.

That’s all for now! I hope you’re enjoying this winter. πŸ™‚ ~ Emily
