Tiered Skirt and Green Shirt
Hello again! Today on Modest Monday we’ll be taking a look at an outfit featuring a tiered skirt and green shirt. Let’s go!
I just recently purchased this skirt, and I’m having a little trouble figuring out how to style it. Even with this outfit I wasn’t entirely satisfied with how it looked (but there comes a point where you just have to accept what an outfit looks like and move on with your day 😉 ). It’ll work for now, anyway; though I would like to experiment with different ways to wear it as well. The skirt itself I really liked, since it has a lot of fabric (lots of fabric = lots of flowiness) and is quite long as well.
I also like the combination of colors. It’s a little more muted than these skirts can sometimes be, which I liked for everyday wear.
For accessories I went pretty light: just a pair of earrings and a small claw clip to hold back the side portion of my hair.

The shirt I made myself (I’ll link to those sewing posts here and here). And I bought the skirt at a thrift store. The flip flops (which you can’t see) are from Old Navy, and the earrings were hand-me-downs of unknown origin. 😉
Well, that’s all for now! I hope you enjoyed this post. Do you like long skirts? ~ Emily
