Rewriting History
Hello! Today on Reading Wednesday we’ll be taking a look at a novel I picked up a few months ago: Rewriting History. Let’s get started!

If you want a read that doesn’t take a lot of brainpower, but is still reasonably interesting, allow me to draw your attention to Rewriting History by Vera Dodge.
The protagonist, Mary Fisher, has retired in a quaint, coastal village in Cape Cod, named Ivy Bay. She’s also opened a mystery bookshop in her new home. Her family used to vacation in this quaint setting, which is a pertinent detail to the storyline.
At the beginning of this novel, Mary is hosting a special guest at the book shop: beloved mystery author Addison Hartley. She sees a familiar face in the crowd attending the event. That glimpse pulls her into a mystery involving her past. Add in a suspicious new employee, nervous friends, and a relaxing beach setting, and you have a book that, if not top-tier literature, is at least an engaging read.
Where to find Rewriting History:
I’ll leave a link to the novel here. I’d also keep my eye out at thrift stores, since that’s where I’ve found many books like this one. Happy Reading!
Well, that’s all for now. I hope you enjoyed this post! Until next time ~ Emily
