Flowered Skirt + Flower Jewelry

Hello again! Today on Modest Monday we’ll be taking a look at an outfit I wore to church, which features a flowered skirt + flower jewelry. Let’s get started!

This outfit was pretty simple, but I felt like the small details added a little interest. Small details such as the leaf earrings, the flower necklace, and the flower bracelet (which isn’t shown in this picture, but will be in another). I’ve posted this skirt before here. I thought about wearing heels with this one, but eventually decided on these flats. Simple, yet classic. 🙂

I actually had laid out a different outfit than this one on the Saturday night before church. It often happens, however, that I decide in the morning that the outfit I previously chose just won’t work. It’s handy to have a good idea of what else is in my closet, so that I can quickly pick out another outfit. And I ended up liking this combination better than the one I had originally chosen anyway!

For my hair, I went pretty simple. I really like these little claw clips for half-up/half-down hairstyles. They stay in place and are easy to use. Now that I’m looking at these photos, it looks like I put the clip in really crooked. Hopefully it didn’t look so much like that in person. 😉

Flowered Skirt + Flower Jewelry

The shirt and skirt were both from the thrift store, at one point or another, I believe. The shoes were purchased at Walmart. The claw clips were from the Dollar Store, but they’re still pretty good quality. The earrings were from J.C.Penney, and the other pieces of jewelry were given to me by my sisters.
